I’ve been looking into Amazon Christmas decorations earlier than usual this year, but it seems that everyone is a bit more into the holidays early this year. I do love to savor each holiday and I still plan to, but I am kind of into planning ahead and getting into the holiday spirit early. I’m not decorating until after Thanksgiving, but it’s fun and feels good to plan ahead. I do feel that I am a bit behind and always in a rush from year to year, so with the idea of living intentionally in mind, I think having an idea of how I want the house to look this year will allow me to decorate on time and be present in the moment. Plus, I am extremely excited about my Amazon Christmas decor finds!

How to decorate tastefully for Christmas?
COLOR PALETTE
Select a color palette that complements your existing decor. Traditional colors like red and green are popular, but you can also go with a more neutral palette or pick a theme such as silver, gold, and white, or pastels.
FOCAL POINT
Begin by selecting a focal point for your decorations, such as the Christmas tree, mantel, or a prominent table. This will help you concentrate your efforts and create a cohesive look.
NATURAL ELEMENTS
Incorporate natural elements such as evergreen branches for a timeless and elegant feel. These items can be used in wreaths, garlands, and table centerpieces.
LIGHTS
String lights are a staple of Christmas decor. Opt for warm white or soft lights to create a cozy ambiance.
ORNAMENTS
Choose ornaments and decorations that fit your color scheme and style. You can mix glass, metallic, and handmade ornaments for variety. Consider adding sentimental or personalized ornaments to your tree.
WREATHS & GARLANDS
Hang wreaths on doors and use garlands to drape along banisters, mantels, and windows. These can be made from evergreen boughs, pinecones, or even faux materials for a long-lasting option.
CHRISTMAS TABLE DECORATIONS
Set a festive table with Christmas-themed linens, dinnerware, and centerpieces. Candles in holiday-scented holders can add warmth and fragrance.
CANDLES
Candles create a cozy atmosphere. Use decorative candle holders, and consider scented candles with holiday scents like cinnamon, pine, or gingerbread.
STOCKINGS & MANTEL DECOR
Hang stockings by the fireplace or on a dedicated stocking holder along with a touch of greenery for a cozy look. This is the perfect ambiance with a faux or real fire, depending on your fireplace setup.
TREE SKIRT OR BASKET
A tree skirt not only protects your floors but also adds a finished look to your Christmas tree. Choose one that coordinates with your decor.
COORDINATED GIFT WRAPPING
Use wrapping paper and ribbons that match your chosen color scheme. Well-coordinated gift wrapping can add to the overall aesthetic of your decor.
LESS IS MORE
Don’t feel the need to overcrowd your space with decorations. A few well-placed, thoughtfully chosen items can have a bigger impact than an abundance of decor.
ROTATE EVERY YEAR
Consider rotating your Christmas decorations each year to keep things fresh and exciting. This also allows you to add new items gradually.
