If you see someone and you have style envy, ask your these 3 questions:
✨ 1. DO I KNOW MY PERSONAL STYLE? You really can't "be stylish" if you don't know what that style is for you. Get on Pinterest, look through magazines, or flip through your saved posts on Instagram. Make a note of any patterns in the styles, recurring clothing items, and the overall feel you get from the outfits. If anything feels out of place, ask yourself if you truly resonate with it for your own personal style, or just admire it. Once you know your style, putting together outfits truly does begin to feel effortless because you are making less effort to figure out the style of outfits you like.
✨ 2. DO I HAVE THE PIECES THAT I NEED TO CREATE THIS STYLE? Everyone says to buy wardrobe staples, but the idea itself sounds a bit boring. The advice here is to buy the recurring pieces that you see from question 1 and let those build your wardrobe. This could be a coat you see layered over several outfits, lots of sweats, a particular style of shoe, etc.
✨ 3. DO I FEEL CONFIDENT IN THIS STYLE? The most important secret to effortless style is to have confidence. Once you've established your style, be confident and own it. Confidence is the final touch to an outfit that truly makes or breaks it.

We get so many questions and compliments on our living room sofa. We bought it during @valyourfurniture's Black Friday Buy Two, Get One Free Annual Sale.
We started by measuring the floor area where we wanted the sectional to be. We went as far as putting blue tape on the floor in the size and dimensions of the sofa, just to get the perfect fit for our space.
We bought the Feathers Sectional in 142 inch, along with the Feathers Right Facing Corner piece, and got the Feathers Single Seater free with the Black Friday sale.
It brought the entire room together for family movie nights, hosting game nights with friends, and of course our upcoming holiday gatherings. It has removal cushions to make upkeep and washing easy which is perfect for buying a beige couch with dogs and toddlers.
